Life story

Shakhin Jumshud oghlu Quliyev left a deep mark on the judicial system of Azerbaijan and in the hearts of those who knew him. He was born on June 1, 1951, in the beautiful Khojavend district of Azerbaijan. In 1957, he started school in his native district, where he received his primary education and developed an interest in law and justice. After finishing school, Shakhin entered the Azerbaijan State University in 1970, where he began to study law in depth. His passion for knowledge and hard work soon bore fruit. In 1971, he began his professional career as a lawyer in the Khojavend district. Here, he gained his first work experience in the field of law and established himself as a responsible and fair specialist. From 1973 to 1977, Shakhin worked as a secretary in the Shusha City Court. This period was an important stage in his career, allowing him to acquire practical skills and gain a deeper understanding of the essence of judicial work. In 1977, he moved to the position of state notary at the Shusha State Notary Office, where he worked until 1985. The next significant stage in his life began in 1985 when he was appointed as a judge in the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast Court. Here, Shakhin Quliyev distinguished himself as a principled and wise judge, earning the respect of his colleagues and the residents of the region. In 1992, he moved to the position of judge in the Fizuli District Court, where he continued his work until 1995. In 1996, Shakhin Quliyev began working at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, where he worked until 2000, making a significant contribution to the development of the legal system of Azerbaijan. His knowledge and experience were highly valued, and in 2000 he was appointed chairman of the Masalli District Court, where he worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2017, he served as a judge in the Saatli District Court, continuing his mission to uphold justice and the law. His work and dedication became an example for many young lawyers. Shakhin Quliyev was not only an outstanding professional but also a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was married, raised three daughters, and was the joy of his nine grandchildren. Family was the most valuable treasure for Shakhin Quliyev. He was always attentive and caring towards his family, doing everything possible for their well-being and happiness. His family values and love were an example not only for his close ones but also for everyone who knew him. Unfortunately, on April 4, 2018, Shakhin Jumshud oghlu Quliyev passed away from a heart attack, leaving behind bright memories and the respect of those who knew and worked with him. His life and professional achievements inspire and serve as an example for future generations of Azerbaijani lawyers. The life path and professional achievements of Shakhin Quliyev immortalize his memory. His dedication to people and work, his judicial activities based on the principles of justice and honesty, are deeply respected and appreciated by his colleagues. Shakhin Quliyev was always a model of principle and conscientiousness in his profession.
