Life story
Aliyev Oktay Mirzali oglu, a man of honor, duty, and devotion to his work, was born on October 8, 1957, in the Goychay region. His childhood and youth were spent in his hometown, where he graduated from Secondary School No. 6 in 1974, receiving his diploma. Soon after, responding to the call of his homeland, he was drafted into military service and honorably completed his duty in 1977 at a military unit in Sumgait.
Oktay Aliyev stood out for his deep interest in justice and law, which shaped his life’s path. In 1979, he enrolled in the Vladimir Special Secondary School for the Training of Senior Staff of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs, majoring in law. After successfully graduating in 1981, he continued his education at the Gorky Higher School of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs in 1984. In 1989, he completed his studies and received his law degree.
Law enforcement service became the main purpose of his life. He began his career in Azerbaijan, where he served as Deputy Chief of Police at Correctional Facility No. 2 of the Republic of Azerbaijan, earning a reputation for his integrity and fairness. However, in 1995, he moved to Russia to continue his career, working at Correctional Facility No. 7 in the Vladimir region, where he rose to the rank of major. His years of tireless service, dedication, and responsibility were recognized with a state medal.
However, Oktay Aliyev valued not only his professional achievements but also his family, which remained his top priority. In 1981, he built a loving and caring home, becoming the father of three children. He instilled in them the highest values of honesty, honor, and patriotism.
Although Oktay Aliyev passed away in 2014, his name will forever remain in the memory of his loved ones, colleagues, and all those who knew him as a noble person, a devoted officer, and a worthy citizen.
