Life story

Mahmudov Emin Punhan oglu, born on June 1, 1994 in the village of Abulbeyli, Tovuz region, showed his devotion and dedication to those around him. While studying at the school named after Yu. Sadigov, he set an example of virtue and hard work to his peers.
In 2011, he entered the Heydar Aliyev Higher Military Academy and showed himself to be a talented and purposeful student. In 2015, he successfully completed his training to the rank of lieutenant and confirmed his readiness to serve the country.
Emin Makhmudov, who entered the Ground Forces in 2016, proved himself to be a real hero in his service.
Captain Emin Makhmudov, being a soldier and a devoted father, had a big heart and deep love for his family. He was an inspiring husband and caring father to a daughter and son. The fact that he was unable to witness the birth of his second daughter, Zainab, who was born after his death, made the tragic loss even more painful. Despite this, his loyalty and love for his family will forever remain in their hearts and will live in the memory of all who know him and respect him as a father, husband and hero.
His military rank and state decorations attest to his conspicuous courage and impeccable devotion to duty. On October 12, 2020, Captain Makhmudov became a martyr in the battles for the liberation of the Jabrayil region from occupation. For outstanding services to the country, Emin Makhmudov was awarded many honorary decrees, orders and medals. (Order of the Flag. For the Fatherland, medals “95 and 100 years of the Army”. For the Jebrail region, for the Gubadli region, for the Fuzuli region. Medals “Brave Fighter”)
His sacrifice and courage will remain an eternal source of inspiration to all who knew him and appreciated his virtue. The memory of him, buried in the Tovuz region, will live in the hearts of those who remember him as a true hero and defender of the Motherland.
