Life story
Mamedov Ramal Magomed ogly was born on January 1, 2000 in the city of Ganja.
In 2016, Ramal successfully completed the 9th grade of secondary school No. 28 in Ganja and showed interest in kickboxing. His tenacity and passion for sports were noticeable to everyone around him.
However, Ramal’s fate took a new turn when on October 1, 2019, he was called up for military service and began serving in military unit “N” of the Ministry of Defense. Ramal was a man with clear convictions and determination to defend his homeland.
On September 27, 2020, when the decision was made to launch a counterattack operation by our troops, Ramal voluntarily went to the front line. He participated in the battles for the Fizuli and Khojavend regions, showing outstanding courage and dedication.
On October 1, 2020, Ramal died tragically during the battles for the Khojavend region. His sacrificial service and courage will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Ramal was the only child in the family and was unmarried.
On October 1, 2020, family and relatives saw off the martyred Mamedov Ramal Magomed ogly on his last journey. He was buried in a cemetery in the village of Lokbatan, Garadagh region.
For his selfless service and courage, Mamedov Ramal Magomed oglu was posthumously awarded the medals “For the Fatherland” , “For the Liberation of Fuzuli.” And "Brave Fighter".
His spirit and example will live in our hearts forever.
