Life story
Fuad Khankishiev was born on April 12, 1996 in the city of Mingachevir. In 2002-2008 he studied at secondary school No. 3 named after Mehdi Huseynzade in the city of Mingachevir. Fuad, who was involved in the sport of judo, for which he showed great enthusiasm during his school years, continued his sports education and continued his studies at the Baku Olympic Sports Secondary School, from which he successfully graduated in 2011. In 2011-2014 he studied at the Faculty of Physical Education of the Mingachevir College of Tourism. In addition, Fuad Khankishiev was also involved in design and decorating work as an amateur.
In 2014-2016 he was on active military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
Fuad Khankishiyev, being a reserve soldier of the Azerbaijan Army, showed courage by actively participating in the battles in the Shusha, Fizuli and Khojavend directions during the Second Karabakh War, unleashed by the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020. liberate the territories occupied by Armenia. On November 3, 2020, he heroically died in battles in the direction of Dashalti (Shusha), at an altitude of 1553 meters.
He was posthumously awarded orders and medals reflecting his exceptional services to the Motherland (Order of the Flag of Azerbaijan, medals “For the Fatherland”, “For the Liberation of Khojavend”, “For the Liberation of Fuzuli”, “For the Liberation of Shushi”, “Brave Warrior”).
The martyr was buried in the Alley of Martyrs of Mingachevir on November 6.
