Life story
Jeyhun Orujov was born on December 17, 1996 in the village of Nagarakhana, Shamakhi district. In 2003-2014 he studied at the secondary school in the village of Nagarakhan named after A.S. Gahramanov. He was not married.
In 2015, Jeyhun Orujov was called up for military service.
In 2015-2016, he served in the military unit “N” of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Jeykhun Orujov completed a warrant officer course and received the military rank of "ensign".
Since 2018, he served in the military unit “N” of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with the military rank of “ensign”.
Ensign of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Jeyhun Orujov took part in the battles for the liberation of the Fizuli region during the Patriotic War on September 27, 2020 in order to liberate the territories occupied by Armenia. Jeyhun Orujov died on October 30 during the Fizuli battles. Shamakhi He was buried on the Alley of Martyrs in the city of Shamakhi.
According to the relevant decrees of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, for participating in military actions to ensure the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and honorably fulfilling his duties in carrying out the tasks assigned to the military unit, Jeyhun Orujov was posthumously awarded the medals “For the Fatherland”, “For Military Merit”, “For liberation of Fuzuli”, and the Order of Merit for the Motherland, III degree.
