Life story
Paşayev Dashdamir Alizaman oglu was born on January 28, 1982, in Baku. From 1988 to 1996, he attended Secondary School No. 250. From 1996 to 1999, he studied at the Jamshid Nakhchivanski Military Lyceum. From 1999 to 2003, he received education at the Higher Command Academy. He was married (since June 7, 2009) and had four children (Zeynab, Maryam, Alizaman, and Sofia). In 2003, he began his military service as a lieutenant. He completed a six-month course in Switzerland, after which he obtained the rank of Special Forces scout and started serving in the Azerbaijani Special Forces. Due to his outstanding achievements, he was transferred to the reserve as a major. He worked as an assistant to the deputy chief editor at the ANS TV channel, at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Baku, in the Baku Metro, in Turkey, at various workplaces, and later as a mechanic. Paşayev Dashdamir, as a reserve major in the Azerbaijani army, voluntarily participated in the battles during the Patriotic War, which began on September 27, 2020, to liberate the territories occupied by Armenia, within the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. He was appointed as the commander of volunteers with the rank of major. He participated in the battles for Fuzuli. On October 30, 2020, he became a martyr in Shusha. He was buried on November 8, 2020, in the Second Alley of Martyrs. By the relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Dashdamir Pashayev was awarded the medals "For the Liberation of Fuzuli", "For the Motherland", and "For Military Services".
