Life story
Martyr Gafarli Amin Rasim oglu was born on January 22, 2004, in Binaqadi district, Baku. He is originally from the village of Zarnali in the Zangilan district. In 2010, he started the first grade at the secondary school named after martyr Emin Aliyev. In 2021, he graduated from the 11th grade of that school. On April 8, 2022, he was called up for active military service and served in the Jalilabad district military unit. He was a scout in the Special Forces.
On the night of September 12 to 13, 2022, during the operation in Kalbajar, he reached the rank of martyr (at the age of 18). He was buried on September 15 in the Second Alley of Honor.
For his exceptional services to the Motherland, according to the decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Amin Gafarli was posthumously awarded the Order "For Service to the Motherland" III degree and the medal "For the Motherland".
