Life story

When he was called to serve in the National Army, Firuz was only 19 years old. Firuz was born on March 8, 1974, in Mingachevir, where he grew up. He was the fourth child in the family. Firuz graduated from Mingachevir City School No. 16 and the S. Vurgun Music School. He wanted to become an accordionist.
Among his friends and acquaintances, he was known as a music enthusiast. He had many honorary certificates, diplomas, and commendations. He often participated in wedding celebrations, school and inter-school, city and inter-city competitions, and events. His magical fingers made the accordion produce such an enchanting sound that listeners enjoyed it.
Firuz repeatedly elevated the name of the 16th school where he studied.
Additionally, Firuz was eager to work in production. On September 27, 1991, he was hired as an electrician in the energy department of the Weaving Plant in Mingachevir by the order of the management. He worked at this plant until he went to military service.
On June 5, 1992, Firuz was called up for military service in the ranks of the National Army. He began his service in the Sadarak district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and later in 1993, he continued in the Aghdam and Fizuli districts. Firuz served as a scout in the special forces of our National Army, actively participating in reconnaissance operations in combat zones.
In August 1993, while carrying out a combat mission in the direction of the village of Ahmadbeyli in the Fizuli district, Firuz and six of his fellow soldiers faced the enemy and engaged in battle. Unfortunately, his fellow soldiers were martyred in the battle, and Firuz, left alone, destroyed five enemy tanks. He then moved the bodies of his fallen comrades to a trench. After that, he rejoined the fight, and while trying to hit the tank with a hand grenade, which did not explode, the enemy noticed this, fired from the tank, and hit Firuz. The tank then ran over the wounded Firuz.
Firuz was buried on August 28, 1993, in the "Martyrs' Alley" in Mingachevir.
May Allah rest his soul!
