Life story
Bilal Ganbarov was born on September 29, 1993, in Baku. From 2000 to 2011, he studied at the 162nd full secondary school named after E. Aliyev in the Sabail district. He is survived by a daughter. Bilal Ganbarov served in the Azerbaijani Armed Forces from 2018 to 2020 in military unit "N" located in the Beylagan district. A soldier of the Azerbaijani Army, Bilal Ganbarov participated in the Patriotic War, which began on September 27, 2020, by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces to liberate territories under Armenian occupation. He fought in the battles for the liberation of Jabrayil, Hadrut, Fuzuli, and Shusha. Bilal Ganbarov was martyred on November 4 during the battles for Shusha. He was buried in the Badamdar settlement of the Sabail district. According to the decrees of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Bilal Ganbarov was posthumously awarded the medals "For the Motherland," "For the Liberation of Shusha," "Brave Warrior," and "For the Liberation of Fuzuli."
