Life story
Yaşar Hakim oglu Seyidov was born on April 25, 1968, in the Kurdamir region. He began school in 1975 and graduated in 1985. He then served in the military in the Amur region. After returning from service, he enrolled in a vocational school and started working at an oil depot. From a young age, he was known as a brave, honest, and helpful person. Responding to Heydar Aliyev's call, he voluntarily joined the battles for Fuzuli. On January 24, 1994, during the most challenging times of the Karabakh war, he heroically became a martyr.
Yaşar was a very patriotic person deeply connected to his nation. He always told his friends, "If the blood of martyrs is not avenged, this homeland will not forgive us." During the difficult days of the Karabakh war, he could not bear the suffering of the people, the cries of mothers and children, and joined the fights. Despite his family's pleas not to go to war, Yaşar stood firm in his decision, saying, "If I don't go, who will?"
His sister Vafa recalls how compassionate he was, always helping others and offering assistance with love. He loved his family and loved ones dearly and would not allow them to be harmed. He was very close to his sister and always shared his secrets with her. When Yaşar went to Karabakh, he went voluntarily because, in those difficult years, the strength of our army was very limited. Despite the lack of weapons and harsh conditions, brave individuals like Yaşar dealt significant blows to the enemy and showed heroism for the homeland.
Yaşar was a brave and courageous son who sacrificed his life for his nation, homeland, and family. His heroism will always live in the memory of the people. Although he became a martyr, Yaşar's burning heart lives on in everyone's heart, and his bravery will never be forgotten.
