Life story

Ahmadov Eshgin Vaqif oglu was born in 1992 in the city of Ganja. His father went missing in the Russian Federation, so he grew up without a father, raised by his mother and sister. He had a secondary education, was married, and had one son. Eshgin grew up with love for his homeland and his people.
On September 28, 2020, to avenge his uncle and the martyrs, Eshgin voluntarily approached the military commissariat and enlisted for the war. During the 44-day Patriotic War, he fought heroically for the liberation of Shusha. He served in Ganja’s military unit No. 286, in the 1st battalion, 3rd company. The severe head injuries he sustained during the war gave him no peace. His fearlessness, self-sacrifice, and courage on the battlefield were reminiscent of the path of his uncle, a commander who went missing in 1992 at Farrukh height in Aghdam.
He suffered greatly from his injuries and passed away on November 21, 2023. Eshgin was very brave, fearless, kind-hearted, and a supporter of the poor and the helpless.
According to a decree by President Ilham Aliyev, Ahmadov Eshgin Vaqif oglu was posthumously awarded the "For the Liberation of Shusha" and "Participant of the Patriotic War" medals.
